HI Gang,
What gas mileage should I expect with a 2005 800 efi sportsman?
Just trying to get a feel for how aften I need to fill-up and reserve gas to have on hand.
Thanks Musky...

I got 60 miles out of a tank of gas, but this depends on what your doing. if your just riding trails you will get around that. If your in mud or snow low gear you will get a lot less, Polaris are known for being pigs when it comes to gas.

I was wondering the same about my Xpedition 425.
Best to just strap a 5-gallon can on the rack for trail riding.
That way when I have to switch to reserve I can fill up and turn around assuring I will make it back to the tow vehicle.

i took my 08 500 ho on aprox 700 mile drive last summer. i got if i rember about 70 miles to the tank. think it was like 20mpg.. avg speed of about 45. i had wrote a thread on it in june or so. but im to lazy to go look.
again its all in what ur doing with it. trail ridding in high. or plowing, or woods ridding, or just plane donuts and screwing around.

I have a 2007 Sportsman 800 efi and was out riding pastures last Monday. Was in a few areas where I had to run AWD. I rode 12.5 miles and used 1/2 tank of gas !!!!!!
