Will not idle???

My 07 Sportsman 500 H.O. turns off when the rpms get too low. Ran and idled great one day, next day when I started it to plow snow it would not idle. It is fuel injected, but will not start or idle without feathering the throttle. Any ideas?

Try adjusting the safety switch inside the black box that is attached to your thumb throttle you will need a flat head screwdriver to pop off the top of the box to gain access to the switch inside the box, there you can adjust the switch to solve your problem. If that is functioning properly then you need to mahe a throttle cable adjustment which is about 6" from that same black box under the black plastic sleeve on the cable itself. Hope that helps.

A quick adjustment to the throttle cable fixed the problem. Dealer said that riding can cause the cable to vibrate loose, causing the rpms to drop.
