Either they devised a way to move the second axle back about 3 feet, or that is photoshopped. I'm going with photoshopped.

I agree with razorback the rear axle looks like its moved back and is behind the box ,stock 6 by 6 dont have there axle that far back. Im not saying its photoshopped but it aint stock either.

Even if it is a real kit, and it is designed to relocate the rear axle, I'm not sure how strong it would be.

More moving parts = more stuff to break.

I know this is an old thread but I figured I would answer the question.

This was a custom set of tracks made for a customer by Mattracks. Price to have built....$9,000 to $10,000. I talked to them last fall about having a set made for a new 800 6x6 and that was the price they gave me. They have a custom rear end that is bolted on to allow for the extended frame for the 6 tracks. They said that the system can be unbolted when you want to go back to a tire set-up if you would like.

I have a 800 6x6 and thinking about tracks. What would the advantage be to this over the long single rear track?

I have no idea who the owner is/was. But I found the information when I talked to the guys at Mattracks.

From what I have been hearing people are having problems building a single set of tracks for the 800 6x6 because of the independent rear suspension for a reasonable cost. That is why they offer the individual 6 tracks. however the 6 tracks would have more surface area then 1 signal set I would think.
