Question Clunking Sound

Hello all i am new to this sight so i hope this is not a well known topic.....anyway i have just purchased 2 2008 800 EFI Sportsmans V Twin i just got back off a 65 mile ride and noticed a bad banging sound when going down hill on rough rock roads sounds like metal on metal but i am not sure. I can fill this banging on my feet. I am not sure about the other machine i fit does it to, but man it does not sound right, or good.

Has anyone else come across this before any input would be appreciated

You might want to check the roll pins that hold your drive line yokes onto the transmission and differential shafts. I had one back out and was whacking the transmission housing. If you feel it in the right foot well it may be the yoke on the front propeller shaft next to your foot.
