what is the best to put in a gas tank when fuel is 3 yrs old to clean it plastic tank
what is the best thing to put in a gas tank to clean it the tank is plastic i was told at one time house hold bleach works great and one agree or disagree

I wouldnt risk bleach. Is it a cauerberated machine? I would use Sea Foam in either case.

also If it has been sitting you will need to take off and clean the cuaeberator MOST LIKELY

drain that gas out for sure
do u have it to the point that removing the tank is easy??? if so i would take it right off and clean it out if u think there is anything in there that wont pass thru the opening
dont want it plugging it up out on the trail

take the tank off and rinse it with hot water and sea foam

Why do more than just drain it and clean the carb. Have you ever seen a plastic gas can with rust or crud sticking to it. Not I.
