ATV and calories burned
I started exercising and bought a heart monitor that also shows calories burned.
For the heck of it I put it on and went out with my Polaris Srambler 500.
I don't drive fast and I was making trails not following one.
I spent 55 minutes.
I was shocked to see I burned 553 calories.
How cool is that.
Honey, I am going to go and exercise! Where's my helmet?
Has anyone ever done this before?

I used to have a trainer who raced quads. He also told me that when I gp on my two day and four huundred + mile trips it was good exercise. Must be true. When ever I come home I feel awesome.

Im always sore the day after riding and while it may not be like jogging, its definately better than eing a couch potato.

I'm not surprised, I did strain some muscles the first time I drove the old Arctic Cat, and my new 6x6.
and driving the Cat in deep snow was very physicaly demanding.
