Question need case to protect camera from sand

I just bought a really nice Sony camcorder and plan on taking some video on the St. Anthony, Idaho dunes in June. I'm concerned about possibly getting sand in it from blowing sand. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a camera case on the market, that would let me shoot video while the camcorder is protected inside?

It's not cheap but Sony does make waterproof cases for most of their camcorders. Check out this link:

You could make a little box out of plexiglass maybe? If you could find a way to mount it securely, that would probably be a cheaper option than a case from Sony.

Very nice case, and yes, quite pricey, but doesn't work for my model DCR-SX44 but does work for other models. I think I'll inquire to see if another case will work for my camera. Thanks for the link
