Amargosa Dunes

Chasing the wife around on her new 850 Touring on the Amargosa Dunes. The camera is mounted on the front rack of my 600 Twin. Enjoy!

Great video! Wish we had dunes like that out here. How's the camera mounted, on a front rack extender? It was very smooth and easy to watch.

The camera is a Go Pro HD2 and is mounted using a handle bar mount and a 2 inch extension. The only real video problem comes when you idle, the picture gets real wavvy, also ALL the engine noise is transmitted to the camera due to the mounting location.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking about getting a gopro and have been watching videos from all angles to try and figure out the best way to mount it. This way looks good, I guess you just edit out any parts recorded at idle since no one wants to watch the machine sitting still anyway.

Yep...lots of editing....I took nearly 2 hours of video and the hardest part is cutting it all down.....surprising Windows Live Movie maker is pretty easy to use. I have another video I will be posting in a day or two.
