I will be using it in the winter mainly for ice fishing and trail riding during the spring, summer and fall. The dealer installed the tracks for me. I would like to change them out and put the tires on for the rest of the summer/fall for trail riding.
How hard are they to change out. Do I have to take off the mounting brackets? When considering my purchase, dealer convinced me that the Prospectors were the direction to go over the Camoplast and Mattrax.
I'm sure the Prospector tracks are fine; but I'm betting the dealer had some reason other than that "are the best" track system.
Anyways, I think the recommendation is to remove the brackets. I know it is for my Camoplast Tatou System. It's no be deal, about 30 minutes to to remove the tracks and about an hour to install and adjust them.
Good luck with the tracks. I use mine from November through March. And it is mostly for ice-fishing. Have not been in a situation yet that I could not just go right through. Mostly the tracks will keep you on top of anything.
