Newbie from Michigan w/ equipment questions!

These forums are great! I just bought my first 2 ATVs to take to my new place in Lincoln, Michigan. They are both Trail Boss 330s - a 2005 and a 2009.

My question is this: The dealers (I got them at separate dealerships) are telling me different things with regard to the winches that can be installed, which is surprising because they are essentially the same machine. The 2005 is getting a front mounted Warn 2500, but the dealer on the 2009 says it can only handle a rear mounted 1500 (I know, that’s what she said). Seriously, does anyone know if both dealers are right or where I can get the correct info? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome! I tried to do a little bit of research, and did not come up with too much.. You might need a mount. (Look at the list of compatible vehicles, and I believe yours is on it.)

On Pure Polaris, It says that there are no compatible winches with the 2009 Trail Boss, but I know that is not accurate. With a mount, more winches might work. Maybe this existing thread may help you...
