I love my 850XP. Do I need the extra power? Probably not. Do I like the peace of mind that having the bigger bike gives me? Certainly. No regrets. A 550 would have been fine, but I find the 850 really doesn't work very hard for the type of riding I do, even in the mountains.

One thing to keep in mind is that the first four wheelers were mostly 200's and 250's and everyone had fun. Now there are 850's and 1000's on the market. Did the Earth get steeper??? LOL!

Ride safe!
