Rope Starters
I own 2002 500HO with about 6,000 miles on it. Someday I'll have to replace it but I can't think how I would improve on it except for EFI. I've heard that Polaris isn't putting rope starters in their ATV's anymore. A rope starter is an absolute must for me; I enjoy riding in the winter in sub zero weather and there's not battery that I can trust to work in this extreme weather. It's not always the battery. Once some brush managed to disconnect my voltage regulator wire. The starer was useless and I was 6 miles away from help and the temperature was 21 below zero. This was the first but not the last time the rope starter saved my butt. I hope Polaris reconsiders putting rope starters on their machines.
