Thanks for the kind welcomes, I look forward to learning a lot more about these machines.

Blueline 15- unfortunately the state I live in you can basically only ride on private property, very limited public areas to ride on and then you have to go through a hell of a lot of red tape to even do that....

MATT.

WOW Matt i guess when i lived in Karatha W.A. Some of the people had quads and dirt bikes and they used to go every where but that was back in the 80's maybe the laws have changed since. how much property do you have access to ride?

Here are some pics of Karatha W.A.

Medevack1,

Other states have more relaxed laws, hopefully in due time our state government will follow suit.

I've got very limited access to property, I do however find tracks to ride on, we have police on dirt bikes who regularly monitor these tracks so it's not too easy.

Even hunting in declared forests we can't ride quads because they aren't "road registered". It kind of forces guys to do things slightly illegal.

I look forward to hunting in western NSW were we have access to 70,000 acres of untouched bushland.

WA would be Awsome to explore by quad.

Matt.

Wow, thats unfortunate. Still looks to be beautiful country down there. Never been out of North America, but I would love to visit Australia some day.

Regardless, lots of folks here can help you learn more about the machines.
