Hello all, newb checking in from the Mtn's of NC. Just wanted to say thanks for the wealth of knowledge I have found over the last year here and to say that I will do what I can to help out.
I would like to start off by telling you that I have a 2003, Sportsman 700 Twin. I traded for it knowing that the coil was bad, but little did I know what I was getting into with the Ducati mess. Anyhow, I didn't have the funds to replace the coil with another that would eventually fail, and I sure didn't have the funds to do the retro-kit. What I did was to use a Jacobs electronic ignition box, GM 3.8 liter dual post coil and she runs great. I did this because I had the parts laying around due to working at a GM dealership, and I am cheap too.

Now I find that after riding a few times that I must have a bad mechanical waterpump seal as I am getting coolant into the oil/crankcase. I am familiar with this setup as I have built many dirtbikes and ATV's over the years, tho I have never been into a Polaris.
What I would like to know is where in the wild world of sports can I purchase these seals without breaking the bank? I had a good friend who owns a repair shop price these out to me at like $45 for the waterpump seal, $25 for the oil seal and another $45 or so for the gasket and o-ring. Can these be had for less or anywhere besides the dealer?
I appologize for putting all this into my first post but I do have somewhat limited access to the net and didn't really know where to ask such questions.
TIA, Bryan
