2001 sportsman 6x6
ive got 2 problems i need some advice on first ive got gas coming out of what i thing is an overflow? hose on the back of the carb and lets it run onto the tranny? case. also my starter seems to be jamming. it happened once before and i was able to free it by pulling the starter cord. appreciate any help anyone can give me. gepp

Float needle is stuck in the carb or the needle seat assembly is bad. Remove carb,disassemble,clean and inspect needle for wear. The starter drive is worn out or you have rust on the flywheel gear thats causing it to hang. Clean flywheel teeth with a wire brush or sandpaper. If spring is broken or teeth worn on starter drive replace it. dbelectrical has aftermarket starter drives or maybe some of the site sponsors may offer an aftermarket starter drive.
