2012 Polaris Sportsman squeaking
Hello guys and gals,My Polaris is squeaking real bad in front shock area.I don't recall hearing it the first day I drove it?The next day I drove it started squeaking real bad somewhere up front around shock area.Will this sqeaking stop after break in period?It was a cold 30 degrees outside when it started sqeaking.Any ideas on how to stop the sqeaking?It only has 17 miles on it.Any help will be appreciated.

Mine did the same thing. It turned out to be the exhaust/muffler shield rubbing something. ????? I took mine back to the dealer and the adjusted the sheild not to rub.

To be sure... While it is squeaking, put your fut on the muffler with a little pressure and see if it quits sqeaking.

Its your front.suspension. Mine did it annoyingly bad for awhile. Grease it and keep riding. It will go away as it breaks in.

Mind does it on the front suspension too. Seems to happen in the winter when the plastic is cold.

My 500 squeaks at the top handlebar pivot. Of course, this part is non-greasable... Has 65 miles on it...
