I notice that there are 4 small holes on lid of front storage compartment.Are these holes for mounting a rack.If so where can I purchase the rack?I need a rack so I can mount a bow holder on it.

yeah those are for the front rack! i got mine at the polaris dealer, for like 70 dollars. You may can find a off brand one for cheaper, but i think polaris stuff on a polaris bike just looks the best!

I'm trying to find out how that same rack mounts to the 2011 sportsman 500. My rack doesn't have any pre drilled holes, so I know I have drill, but where? Does it bolt up to the stiffener underneath?
