I use Berrryman's, it is white. You can find it at parts stores. It works well for me,WR.

3 things you guys should try doing...

1. take the tire off, make sure there isnt any sand/pebble that it between the rim and the tire... this is maybe the most probable one....

2. check for leaks, aka "bathe" the tire in a soapy water... maybe there is a small puncture...

3. might be corrosion, or you have a bad valve in the tire (improbable),
another thing that might be wrong is the pressure... a TOO low pressure may cause your tire to "get off" the rim in some mere instances while riding, like a tight turn on a trail...

fixes:
1.clean rim and tire
2.patch up the punctured area...
3. first id recommend upping the air...
i now ride about 10psi front and 10 psi rear on my x2, some times 7 but i usually pump it up to 10 before winter... no problems what so ever...after i have done this..
my 850's tires dont leak but they are both @ 7psi.

now, if this doesnt fix it, you can always try to add some "slime" in there... it works... but so so... but it WILL patch up a small puncture that you might have skipped... (remember i said CLEAN the rim and tire and as the last step add the slime... dont want to add it only to have to remove it afterwards...(and yes the brand i use is called "SLIME")
if all those fail, id try replacing the tire valves... although its very improbable...

but for the cheapest fix, and fastest, pump more air into the tire...
each 6 degrees Celsius is about a 1 PSI drop in a tire...
AND, theres a process called "effusion" which is air going out through tiny pores in the tire, now the stockers being "cheap" as some would say, it might be the thin sidewall itself that causes the air to go out more freely,
in that case, you can either, use slime, get new tires, OR if you can get this done for cheap, have your tires filled with Nitrogen (N2) as the molecule itself is bigger it either takes more time for it to escape OR it just wont be able to escape through most of the pores.
