Quad Newbie
Hello to all. I just purchased a new '08 (old inventory) Sportsman 500 efi touring for my first experience at this. Will use this for deer and elk hunting next fall with my son (36) and sightseeing the mountains with my wife this summer.
Have found that hiking the Washington cascade mountains(east side) is getting harder every year, so hope the polaris will take some of the burden off my old legs and back.
The rear seat is very comfortable and look forward to learning the proper techniques for handling the machine with two on board. Has been many years since riding an old Honda 160 to work and out for recreation, so this will be a very new experience!
Hope to learn a lot from you folks here. Will be picking up my machine next week sometime after they install the Warn 3K winch.
