2002 Sportsman 500 4x4 hub problem
New member question. I am having problems with the front left hub locking up. Here is what I have done so far. First time I swaped the hillard and plate from the left to the right and it still worked. I then swaped the parts that were on the right to the left and still no action. I then tested the power at the connections under the front cover / hood and both had 12 volts. I took the connection apart and switched them and still nothing on the left. I then put new actuator plates on both sides and still nothing on the left. Both hub coils seem to have about the same amount on magnetic power when switched on using the scredriver test. ever once in a while the left will kick in and pull like crazy for a few seconds then its back to nothing. Any help would be great its driving me crazy running in the snow with only 3 wheels pulling. Do I order a new hub coil, sounds like a real pain to replace. Some have mentioned that I can adjust the one I have, but not sure how.
