Hello yall , This is my first post on this site. Im kinda the co owner of a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 400. I made a deal with a friend of mine If I repair it I can use it anytime I need to. So with that being said a little bit about myself.
I was a Certified Master Auto mechanic for most ot the 28 years I worked on vehicles. I now have moved from working on vehicles to running the parts side of it at my job.
Now for some help , the Polaris had some probs , it was ran off in a ditch , the right rear axle came out of the rear end , he put it back in and now it makes a clicking noise going forward or backwards. The CV boot is ripped on the inner joint. Sounds like the front wheel drive cars I worked on and maybe needs a axle.
Next it now has no 4 wheel drive , just rear wheel and lastly the left front hand brake was broken off , so im lookin for parts and any advise yall can give me. Thanks for takin the time to read this.
