Well I guess I was a little rude - jumped right in without first saying hello. John here from snowy Colorado. Just picked up a new 850XP this past weekend. I am amazed at the amount of info here for someone who is new to the Polaris family. Lived in the past with Honda, Yamaha and A Kawasaki or two. Mainly in the two wheel world. Have a couple of 20+ year old 3 wheelers. Had a Blaster too. The 850 is a beast. Best investment I think I made on something that invovles a motor.
So since I have jumped in, I know I ruffled a few feathers in the DUI and ATV chat.

I won't apologize.

I have seen the destuction first hand. No, I don't want any more regulation of our sport. But if you are over the limit, stay off the seat. It's no different then a car on the highway. The only exception to that is if you are on your own property. But hey, if you want to kill yourself, but a muzzle to your temple and pull the trigger. No need to ruin a decent ATV in the process.
So, be it a fair weather ride or a snowy excusion, hope to see everyone on the trails.
