Hello from Sweet Home Alabama!!!
I have a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 4x4. Just thought about looking for a forum yesterday and I've owned it since last November. I definitely loving it so far. The only complaints I have about it is that aggrovating EBS system and the fact that it is a belt driven clutch setup. The belt completely shredded up on me and I had to be out of $65 bucks after the first 2 weekends of riding it.
Outside of that though, it's a great machine. My four wheel drive takes me through a lot more spots that my riding crew, and I also get called a lot to come and pull people out of mudholes that their 4 wheel drives can't make it through.
