Hello from McHenry Illinois
Hey guys and gals. I have been here for a short time and want to introduce myself. My name is Thor from McHenry IL. I am a father of 2 (soon to be 3) and married to a wonderful woman who lets me enjoy my hobbies. My current quad is a 09 XP850 ESP. This is the 2nd XP850 that I have owned the past 6 months.
We like to ride as much as possible and can be found at least twice a month rinding with my buddies on the Dunbar WI trail system from spring through fall. Every now and then you will see me with my little one to the Cheese trails for a days trip. Not the most exciting place but its great for a 4 year old since there are many places to stop for breaks.

Thanks Dodge for the kind words! I took the aluminum wheels on the black XP and sanded them down, cleaned them well and painted them with bed liner spray paint. I gave them 3 coats total. Worked out great and is very durable. Easy touch up if needed but I never had too. I left the inner part silver to give it a two tone look as you can see in the photo.

i wonder if a guy could powder coat them. Thoughts?....

I have heard of people power coating them also yes.

i am glad somebody else has mirrors on there red 850 besides me LOL. i will not be without them for family riding.

Hi there thor were are the dunbar trails in wi. i ride the harrison hill trails and langlade trails sometimes.
