i posted in your other thread, but its a belt tension adjustment you need. clutches are putting too much tension on the belt there isnt enough freeplay to shift it while the motor is running and the primary spinning. no big deal, takes an hour or so for someone experience to do it

Thanks so much blueline15 I took the bike in this morning, hav'nt heard anything yet. I like to stay imformed, this forum is great. I will post the results as soon as i here from dealer.

when does the belt squeal when its under power or at a idle ?
WOW i feel like an a$$ posted without reading the second page but blueline answered my question with his earlier post !sorry!

Quite all right, appreciate you replying, mostly squealing at idle, the little time i rode it , what i could tell at idle , some squeal right when i hit the gas, hopefully blueline is right, simple fix.

i would have to agree with blueline! if at an idle the clutch is grabbing the belt enough to make it squeal your clutch is out of adjustment!.....hopefully you can get it back quick. i hate my atv down for any amount of time !

How often do you have to make these adjustments, i hear the belt shoulbe changed every 100 hrs. I woulg like to learn how to do these adjustments myself. I have a shop tools and am a mechanic, just want to save a little time and $
