upgraded axles

ok, i put 28" silverbacks on my 07 800 x2, i new these tires would be hard on my axles but i never thought both my front axles would break the first time i took it out. i never really got into anything real crazy but they still broke. are the polaris axles really that cheesy? my friend told me to buy a set of turner axles to put on it, does anyone know if that would be the way to go? and is polaris made tough enough to handle the upgrades so i can go out and have some serious fun? also the same night i broke my axles the belt messed up too and needed to be replaced. so far i only have 26 hours on my bike and 69 miles but i am not very impressed with it so far...are they good dependable and solid bikes or do i need to sell it and find something else?
