New 2006 Predator

All,

I just purchased a new predator 500 and it makes a very audible winding noise when in medium to high rpm in all gears. Any ideas what this is?

Thanks,

Mark

Is this a new left over stock from 06 or used and just new to you?I have an 06 Pred 500 TLD and I think they all make noises. They sound like they need rings in them too,but that is how they are.I think just about all Polaris atv's have some different noises to them.Check the oil and add if it needs it,then let a mechanic listen to it if you are not comfortable with the noise. That would probably be the safest thing to do.
