Hey guys, I have been ridding dirt bikes and ATV's for a long time, I do most of the work on them myself and have recently inherited a 1995 Polaris Magnum 2x4, and it's leaking oil. The Question i have is, looks like it's coming our from the seal or crank shaft behind the Stator, is there a oil seal there? Also the recoil assembly has a drain plug and looks to have a plug to add fluid, but should there be anything in the recoil assembly? Thats where the oil is dripping from, the bottom of the recoil assembly is cracked and the oil is dripping from there. I just want to know if there is suppose to be an oil seal behind the stator or is the recoil assembly suppose to have oil in it?
