suspension on 08 sportsman 800
Hello all new to the site must say it has been quite informative thank you all I have solved a lot of issues and you have answered a lot of my questions. First off what setting on the stock rear suspension would you recommend for a 190 lbs advanced rider that has a full cargo box and quite often a passenger. I have also noticed quite a few people asking which way to turn the adjustment nut and what tool to use. I myself remove the tire and hook one end of a 1" heavy duty ratchet strap to the bottom of the spring. I then loop the other end over the top of the strut and back to the bottom of the spring on the opposite side. Tighten the strap until there is a visible space. After that you can pretty much turn it by hand.

you can try different positions to suit your needs, sounds like you might have to crank them up the whole way

thats the kind of input i was looking for. dealer said they fit without rubbing and the driveline can handle them. then again there in the buisness to make money right. I have doubts about clutch kits ive heard horror storys about them and dont really want to compramise reliability. What tire size would you recomend??
