Would this work with a 2007 800 X2?

No, HMF designed it like the XP exhaust. It is for the standard sportsmans

I gotta say with the bend in that pipe where it enters the silencer unless its transversly mounted ( Std sportsmans are not) like the XPs its not gonna fit a STD Sportsman...

Unless those are not the pics of what your selling... It sure looks like a XP exhaust.

That's weird how they mount them all transversely like the XP's

I am sure they have a good reason (production savings) but I can't understand why they couldn't just make it fit on straight like the stock exhaust.

I have installed and used the Swamp XL in this style and it works great. This is the Standard Swamp series and is the quieter than the swamp XL. It is the Actual item im selling. They do this cause of the size of the can. There is no way it would fit in the stock position. The factory can already hits the swaybar link under compression of the suspension. The larger can gives a deeper tone and keeps good flow while not being much louder than stock. I assure this WILL fit. As I said I had the XL (loud) version on my 11 sportsman 800 and it bolted up with no issues. I dont like loud exhaust so I sold it and got the standard swamp series. Its a dam nice exhaust but I modded my stock pipe and decided to stay with it before I ever installed this one. It is new and never been mounted.

Just wondering if it will clear the rear storage box?
