Suspention

I have a 2001 sportsman 700 that was dropped on its back while trying to load it on a truck (long story don’t ask) (kids) When you push on the back rack the rear suspension is soft on the one side a quite a bit firmer on the other side. Is the only thing supporting it the shocks and springs or is there a torsion bar?

That sounds like a blown shock. Look at the shock on the side it is soft and check for wetness.
