I need help jetting

Hey, i have a 2007 predator 500 and i have a full fmf on and a k&n filter with the 6 uni holes in the air box. its getting plenty of air so its running a little lean. i have a whole jetting kit but dont know what size to put in it nor how to do it... any help?

Your jet kit has to have a 160 main jet, that is the one I would use. Dont mess with the pilot. The main jet are the small ones and has the number on them. It's a simple mod the loose the bolts take off the carb turn it over, take off the four bolts on the fuel bowl. Remove the float and needle if needed!! The main jet uses a flat screw driver, take it off and put the 160 labeled main jet. Put everything back together and run it with a new plug. Run it at least 10 mins. Take it off and if it looks clean, then your still to lean go up to 165 and so on. But I don't think you will need to go big with simple mods. The color on the plug you are looking for is a nice brown or light black. I hope I helped I'm on my phone so bare with me here.

thanks for having me aboard! and thanks those are helpful tips.. ill have to try the 160 i guess i though i would have to go higher than that but i could be wrong haha

Buy a nice ngk iridium plug to help burn everything smooth. Don't go a step colder yet

on the plug!!! dont go a step colder yet. example if ur stock plug reads br6es, dont buy a br7es = step colder. wait till you really put some upgrades on ur quad.
