03 trail boss

I just purchased an 03 Trail Boss. It is my first atv and I'm not disappointed. I do however what to upgrade and modify it to get as much out of it as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions or success storys on modifications?

I guess first question is what kind of riding to you mostly do? Hardpack, woods, mud, trails, forest roads, dunes, rocky, a mix of everything?

Second is, although there are certainly things you can do to these, the aftermarket selection is limited and they are pretty basic overall, as they are meant to be entry level machines. We wont be able to get 70hp out of this thing is what I am saying. lol

I am going to use it for trail riding at deer lease including a little mud and rocks but nothing extreme. Mainly just want more open trail speed and acceleration.

Found a bolt on aaem exhaust. Has anybody used one of these mufflers before? If I upgrade exhaust what type of air intake upgrade is made for this atv?
