bigger charging system

hey i was wondering how i can get a bigger charging system or alternator to put off more watts or amps on my polaris 850xp to run more stuff.

How much stuff are you running? The stock stator is only about half used up. There is plenty of room for lights, heated grips/gear, GPS, etc.

There are a couple companies that rewind stators, and that could be an option. Prob cheaper to have yours rewound then to buy a new one.

i have a 200 watt atv audio pipe and i am always useing that when ridin. Normaly dont have lites turned on besides at nite and i turn off the sterio when i use my winch and i have piaa front brush gard lites and then my stock lites and thats all i have on it but i just whanted somthing that could run more power on the quad because I am whant to add more led lites on the quad that are another 150 watts and then mabe a few more things. My owners manule said the quad puts out 630 watts at 3000 rpms and thats as high as it gose

Ha! you are running quite a bit. Okay, I will let you be. Usually people who think they need bigger stators are really far from it, so I was just testing you. Sounds like you know what you need.

I dont have a lot of help here, other then I would try to get in contact with Ricky Stator (Ricky Stator) and see if they can help you.

Also I have found, that sometimes the best work are the guys who can do this kind of work local. Your local shops should know if there is anyone capable in you area of doing this.

Would you consider adding another battery for all the electrical stuff you have you can try adding a capacitor on your charging unit.
