2008 Sportsman 300
i have another problem it has to do with my idle, and how to adjust it. my quad idles good and drives good but when i climb a steeper hill and give it gas or go through mud and give it gas (more than 1/4 throttle) it seems to just "bog" out it wont rev higher and just totally lose power, any suggestions? thanks

My sons does the same thing..runs great unless your climbing a bigger hill. His will slow down to a crawl. I've noticed that it will give a puff of oil smoke when he finally let's off of it when he reaches the top. I'm looking to punch it out, but having a hard time finding a bore kit for the 2008. I here adding a jet kit, k&n type filter and diff. Exhaust make a good improvement, on the torque end but I don't know exactly which to setup to get. If you here anything let me know...I'll do the same.

I have read of power complaints many times. the weight of the sportsmans takes its toll.
You can try some SEA FOAM in the fuel and keep things properly tuned up with good filters and plugs.
Good luck,
CW

I just ordered a uni-air air filter, and am thinking of getting the dynojet jet kit, I can't find any aftermarket exhausts that go with the sportsman 300 so if you find any let me know, I'll post more when I get the parts in, good luck
