HI,
I have no problems with backfire etc.
Together with the K&N air filter it seems to be better in the low and mid range.

Try adjusting the slack in the thumb throttle. It solved my backfire problem. Last year, someone from this forum sent me some very good directions on how to make the adjustment. I can't remember who it was now, but he worked in a Polaris dealership. There are some very helpful people on this forum. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip, I have 50 hours on the wheeler and noticed that descending it will do it, took your advice over the weekend, no issues to report... Thanks for the info..
