hey thanks for the last picture i now see why mine does not fit. the welded the bottom mounting bracket upside down on mine.they seem to get the 2 up right lol.
enjoy.great muffler.

No problem.
I did some modifications with a dB-killer.
I mounted the dB dawg and the sound decreases by 5 dB.
Here is a picture:
But:
- power is still the same as without dB killer
- 75mph on the highway
- still power in the lower range

Have you noticed any problems since you added the Hot Seat Exhaust? Are you running lean? Did you see any increase in the low/mid range?

nope no problems also run k&n air filter.

Thank you, I currently am with the stock exhaust however once in a while I get a backfire, figured it might be running a little rich but there again it could be the time of year and current tempters. Thanks for the info...

it will backfire if it is new for the first little bit about 10 hrs or so. if you are running it in winter it is probably a lean back fire , not set right when getting of the gas. if that is when it happens. my Yamaha did that until i set the carb up right.my 850 does not seem to have that problem though. when you get of the gas do it slow and do not let the throttle off all the way until you have almost stopped and see if it goes away.
