snorkel install
Is this a huge mod to do in terms of time? Im thinking of getting this done on my Sportsman 800 but my worries are the shop time at $90 per hour. Do most guys do this themselves?

You are right that most do add this mod themselves. You'll find several threads on this subject. Just do a search and you should find what you need.
Oh, if you find one by Corndwg1, his thread will give you all the things you need and show you how to do it!

That's what I have for my 2010 800 efi. It has very detailed instructions. I haven't installed it yet but my buddy has one of their kits and it was very nice.

If you go to Rubberdowncustoms.com forum, then go to the Polaris section and look thru the sticky section you will find it(CornDwg01 how to's).

Or give Triangle ATV a call and order one of thier stealth kits. It was worth the money in my opinion. No one can even tell that my bike is snorkeled and I love it. Well thought out kit that comes with everything you need to snorkle the air and belt intake, belt exhaust, and all the vent lines. Comes with an instructional DVD as well.

Did you turn your belt exhaust down in the pod?
Do you see any dust getting in the air intakes from the belt exhaust?
