having a small problem and need some ideas

I have a 2011 850xp. I installed a snorkel kit and radiator relocation kit. I rode it around the yard and it back fired on me a couple times. The bike also feels hoter all over. Could this be because of air/fuel ratio being messed up or could it be something else??

Welcome,
The XP's will backfire until you get a couple hundred miles on them... How many miles on yours?

They also tend to feel very hot.. Get a digital temp gun and see what kind of numbers your getting...

I just bought the bike a couple weeks ago. It might have about 25 miles on it if that many. It didnt backfire until we put snorkels on it. As far as the heat goes i think it feels hotter because we moved radiator and with gan sitting on top of my rack now its not pulling the heat out from under the bike. So i was told anyways.
