Snorkel question

I have a 2011 sportsman and I just installed a triangle stealth kit. Wondering about when I hold my hand over the intake tubes the bike doesn't kill just sputters but if I hit the gas it kills immediately. Is there a leak or is that how a efi is?

I am interested in the installation of the Stealth kit. Was it easy to do I am not a mechanic just a normal joe.

it should kill from what ive been told. sounds like you got a leak.

The kit comes with an instructional video that takes you step by step through the process. It is time consuming but anyone can do it with the video they provide.

Well see that's the thing. EVERYWHERE is sealed. When I hold the pipes I
Can make it kill but on the left side of the motor I hear a sucking noise when the bike kills like there is somewhere sucking air thru and I can't figure out where. No one else had this problem? It's like maybe there's a seal not lined up or somthing I cant figure it out

I have just bought a 2011 850 xp and got catvos to snorkel mine and it does the same thing but I havnt figured it out yet. I know what you are saying and it sounds like it is sucking from somewhere but I can't find where

well i took mine apart today andthe airbox boot under the airbox was loose so i tightned it up and now it is sucking in air from around the airbox opening any ideas how to seal that part yet still leaving it serviceable
