2012 500 HO Mod Suggestions
Hi there,
Just bought the a/n ATV, and am pretty happy with it. A buddy bought the same identical one, so I am looking to set mine apart a bit. I already have the Polaris front and rear bumpers, and a 2500lb winch. I am also looking at the WES industries classic box, and possibly an exhaust in future. Anyone have experience with the WES box, and or, an exhaust system on this bike? Any other ideas to get a bit more jam out of this bike? (although I am pleasantly surprised for it being a 500!).
Also, what is the most legit three headlight mod plug and play kit i can pick up? This is probably the most annoying thing, not being able to use all three lights!
Thanks!

Morning!!
Congrats on the new machine, its a good one!
A three light mod is very easy, its cost is a relay (>$5) and about 20" of 16/18ga wire, four crimp conectors, 2" of solder (OR four scotch locks) Then about 30 mins time making connections. Total less then $20! But is very easy and works great!!
Here is one you do yourself:

Here is one you can buy:
Headlight Mod - relay kit
Good luck,

Suggest installing A-arm guards to help protect the cv boots. Also suggest the HID light kits, you won't believe the differece it makes when doing a night ride! Got mine from Thor, it will be money well spent!! They are easy to install. The 500's are great wheelers!

Yeah I just ordered the WES Classic Box, should make things a lot better for riding with the wife and little guy. I am definately going to pursue the three light mod, I have no idea why polaris wouldn't do this to begin with, such a waste.
You guys have experience with exhausts for sportsmans? Any specific brands that stand out?
The HID is also a great idea. Need to get in my Silverado first, as we don't get a whole lot of daylight in the winter months here (4-5 hrs)!
Thanks for the help!
