Predator 90 options for more top end?

Bought my son a 2005 Predator 90 with a blown motor, replaced the top end and am a little dissappointed with the top end speed ( so is my 8 year old son) His 1994 LT80 is stock and faster than the Predator. Bike has great low end power, pulls to the limiter and feels like it should be able to keep gaining speed. Any low dollar suggestions? I was wondering if i could drop a tooth or two on a sprocket? Damn need for speed starts young!

not sure whats out there for the 90 pred but either up on the front or down on the rear will both increase top end speed.

Clutching could be messed up (variator, rollers, etc). Give Gary a call at G Force Racing 800-658-1843

He is a great guy and will help you figure out what's wrong. He has about every part imaginable for the mini quads.

Thanks Josh, I was thinking about one tooth up on the front, but have no idea where to find one.

Thanks DWHST, after reading some more, it looks like 35mph is about where they run. I thought it would be closer to 40-45, so I think the drive train is working properly. It pulls me around at 200lbs!

I built a Scrambler 90 for my son. It's got a race ported 100cc big bore kit with all the goodies. It flat-out HAULS. +3 chromoly a-arms, Works Shocks, Hetrick pipe, 400ex hubs, Blaster nerf bars, etc.
