I bought an 800 ATV not A Snowmobile...

All the comments my friends give me is that my 800 Sportsman sounds like a snowmobile.... I have to agree with them... it does sound horrible except for at idle.

There seems to be a few kits out there for slip on exhaust and I think only 1 kit I seen from Aeen was a full pipe kit which i'm not interested in.

Is there a slip on that makes this machine sound deeper under load and higher rpms?

Does muzzie make a kit for the SP800? Danm their exhaust sounds nice on some machines...

I'm just looking for opinions..

nope. There is no slip on exhaust that will make your 800 sound deeper, only louder. You will have to get a full exhaust to get a better sound. Not much you can do to the 800 engine to give it a deep sound. I have tried a couple and just resorted back to the stock exhaust. My HSP sounded ok in my garage when new, but after a few rides it is annoying. Just my opinion though

That's what I was affraid of. The HSP sounded the best out of all the clips I heard but still didn't sound that great. I have a feeling I will also keep it stock.

BTW on the subject how well does your bike turn those 29.5 Outlaws? I'm looking at getting 28" SIlverbacks with a QSC MudPro Clutch Kit.

It turns them just fine and I am still running the stock clutch setup. I am about to order the QSC though now that I finally have the drivetrain all upgraded. If you are going with outlaws or silverbacks just be prepared to upgrade some things. I have broke all four axles which are now upgraded to gorilla's, rear driveshaft which is now gorilla, front differential which is rebuilt with superatv's aluminum cage and armature plate, and had to weld the low gear in the transmission. So yeah, it turns them just fine, there are just some weak points to get past. Once you do that it is a blast.

Wow, that is quite intense... I don't think for the amount of wheeling I do I'm prepared to put all that work into it. Would you define the Tires being the issue, your riding habbits or the Bikes build quality/components being the issue?

I know the Can-Am 800 Outlander & Renegade owners are having none to some issues with these tires but nothing like you have described....
