I have 2001 sportsman 500 4x4 I am building a snorkel. I am going to snorkel the air box, the clutch outlet. now the hole that is on the crank case is what I have a question on. can I cap this? or should I plum it into the air box snorkel? also can someone give a me a breakdown of the vent line and etc that needs to be routed up?
I am also tore on which to use for pluming pvc pipe which is going to be a pain in the ass
or
I see people us pool vacuum hose 1.5" to run to front and ties into the pvc pipe top

I can possibly help with pics of mine(was snorked when I bought it) if you need.
I am thinking about going back to stock and wonder of you would consider selling me the vent parts you remove. If so how much shipped to Florida 34984?

finished my snorkel the day I used the spa hose but I ran it from under the air box so the seat didn't have a issue closing. I also "T" the intake for the belt/crank with one of my airbox intakes and ran the second air box by its self. I took all my vent lines and ran to my 4th unused stack.
parts wise I don't have the clutch vent it was not on the ATV when bought
