Are these accessory wires???

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if these are accessory wires??? They are orange with a white stripe.

I'm trying to wire the handlebar switch for a winch. The directions say to splice the red switch wire into the key powered wire.

Was wondering if these are accessory wires couldn't I just put a male connector on the red switch wire and plug it into one of the two??? If it makes a difference the ATV is a 2012 sportsman 500 HO.

You would be correct. They are KEY-ON 12v accessory power wires for anything such as handwarmers, winch switches, etc. So to keep it clean, I would do exactly what you just said. Put a male connector on the winch wiring harness and plug it into either one of those two wires.
