I have the same bike/tire setup and did not want to buy the whole kit. I ended up buying an epi red primary spring. This didnt do much for me, until i added 50 gram weights. Now it grabs the belt and i have awesome acceleration.

I have a brand new (less than 50 miles on it) EPI red primary spring if you are interested. I didn't like how high it made my engagement so I bought a gold one. I ended up buying the sport utility kit BTW and it comes with the red primary, purple secondary, ? g weights, and a billet helix for $250.
