bronco winch

Hey guys anyone ever have any issues with a bronco winch? I just had my lower fairlead roller kink and brake my cable. I took off the roller and noticed that its just a hollow tube.
so my question is.....

Are there any solid roller fairleads out there?

Is it worth stwitching to a synthetic line(amsteel) and new aluminum/poly hawse?

How do you like the Brinco winch? I am thinking of getting one to change out my polaris winch- she has about had it. I pulled my winch cable off and went to an synthetic and wondered why it took me so long to do it. I still have the polaris winch/fairlead, but have not had any issues. I also use it to plow and I have not seen any wear on the synthetic line yet.

honestly the winch itself is great, the cable and fairlead however are not the greatest. I also am not a huge fan of the switch that is included, I find its tough to operate when plowing if its mounted above the grip.

I'm glad to hear the sunthetic line is better. Are you using the original roller fairlead? I think I'll order in a line/hawse combo kit as well as the warn synthetic winch cable

I am still using the factory roller fairlead. No problems- the winch is just shot. I have been looking at the Bronco 3500lb for a replacement.

I got lucky with the synthetic rope- found it on sale for $30 at cabelas. It is a MadDog extension/winch cable replacement. Like I said before, you will not regret it! I realized how much of a PITA the factory cable was!

picked up a new heavy duty fairlead and new bronco synthetic line. thing runs like a beaut. the bronco synthetic line is about $39 here in canada.
