Elka rear suspensions products

Well I think we can get a SERIOUS discount if we all band together from talking to the REP from there. If I see some interest I will post details.

My application is buying a pair of Stage 1 w\rebound shocks for my SP800. My OEM ones are shot and I need to replace anyways. Even them working a good deal for me has me at about $645 (<--not a BAD price for their products and includes tax and shipping).

If we get a FORUM discount (No matter what make or model you have they will generate us a special rate for this forum) then I think we all could fair well indivdually. IF NOT, then I may just have to go with the OEM and upgrade my springs to the EPI's.

Let me know and thanks!

I'm interested! Actually I was working with another guy on the ATVTorture forum that was trying to set up the same thing.

I want some stage 1s as well.

Well it looks like not too many folks are interested on this site. I got my stage 1's with rebound and triple rate springs for $525 a pair working with a group from the ATVTorture website. I think there were ten of us that all purchased shocks. That's a huge discount from the list price on the Elka website.

Got the rear installed going to do the fronts tomorrow.

So whats the group discount info.? Did your order thru their web site and just enter a coupon code or what?

Thanks for the info.

This is how it works. There is a minimum amount of people that need to purchase shocks so everyone can get the discount.

Once you get your count above the minimum names and phone numbers are given to the Elka rep. The rep will call the people that want in on the deal and you will place your order directly with them over the phone. All they need is a few prices of information and two weeks later your custom shocks show up on your front porch.

I was sceptical at first when I saw the post on ATVTorture but when I was contacted directly by an Elka rep a few days later I was glad. The discount was insane! Regular price for my shocks were $695 and I got them for $525 a pair.

Timing is everything I guess. I joined ATV Torture 30 days before the discount got set up.

Okay cool! I have Sabestain's (sp?) phone info. and he was willing to work us that same discount for group purchases, I wonder if its the same guy? Anyways, I was wondering what the final price would be and man is that a awesome price for their products.

Exactly what I was trying to achieve. And you figure its only a few dollars more if you look at having to replace the rear OEM shocks (my situation) and need upgraded springs. So you get it all in one and its completely adjustable and serviceable Vs. OEM throw aways (gee sounds like I am a salesman, will ELKA give me a better price? lol...lol)

Well Smootbassman, give us a report how do they handle compared to stockers? What is the assembly/install time and info.? Also, another forum member (HONDARACER) is having issues maybe you could shed some light on that too. (Ref:Who is running Elka shocks on Sportsmans?)

Thanks all, great thread!
