Opiniated Jetting for my mods (pilot)

I have an 06 Outlaw 500. I removed the arrestor and installed a CFM performance cap, iridium plug and K&N filter with open box top (outerwear cover). I have jetted it out from 145 to 155 (might go down to 152.5 to test) however I am now looking at the pilot jet. Its a 37.5 but I have noticed my girl will cut out sometimes at idle (1700-1800 rpm). I'm assuming due to the pilot jet not giving enough fuel. I am looking at taking it up to a 40 but am wondering if someone with similar mods thinks thats enough for it or if I should go a little higher to a 40 or 45.
