1994 Polaris Xplorer mods/improvements
Hello im new to this fourm and I was wondering what are some improvements i could do to my 1994 xplorer. I don't really want it to be a super mud machine but i would like to be able to go through mud if i want to. Im already getting tires and plan on putting a snorkel on it ( if anyone has a guide it would be nice). Other than those 2 things are there any improvements to the engine or exhaust I could do? Any advice would be much appreciated, Drake.

I have a '96 Xplorer 300 myself. I've added a K&N air filter, jetted the carb, put on an aftermerket CDI box with more timing and a rev-limiter delete. I also went out and got a racing expansion chamber off a dirt bike and put on my quad. My 300 tears up everyone I hang with and it's a 4x4. Works well at lower RPM'S with enough "umph" to crawl anywhere! Oh yea, 1" larger tires. I would like to figure out the clutches a little better. I'm more into "crawling" now.
